BACK TO BASICS WORKSHOP SERIES 2018
Savour your heritage Kuehs
Rainbow Lapis brings to you a series of workshops bringing you back to the basics of the creation of food – specifically, that of our local heritage confections. From edible flowers and leaves, to understanding different types of sugars, to watching how mussels are seeded and harvested, this year, Rainbow Lapis seeks to bring our participants on a journey from farm to (kueh) fork. Details on the 3 sessions as follow:
Blue Pea Flower Tea
- Bring water to a boil and remove from heat.
- Add Butterfly Pea Flowers and allow to steep in water until cooled.
- Stir in honey or Pandan leaves as desired. Remove flowers before serving.
(Optional) Pour into glasses filled with crushed ice.
